Offer Includes Four (4) Fig Trees "Black Mission".  The plants are starter plants that can range in size from 1-8 inches depending if they were cut back or growing cycle, but most of the time they are 3-6 inches.  They are shipped in 2x1 inch starter tray pots. Expect 1-3 day lead time and 2-4 days shipping time, not including Saturday & Sunday. Thanks GTA!
 
Plant Description
Figs are well-loved as container plants because they bear fruit at a young and are self-fertile without the need of a cross-pollinator.  Black Mission is a classic, all purpose fig that is sweet, black in color on the inside and out.  The fruit is sweet and delicious fresh as well as dried for preserves and snacks all year round.  Figs may yield 2 distinct crops in proper locations with a long, warm growing season.  They will ripen in June-July and then produce a fall crop.  They will grow well in containers for several years, but may need to be planted after 4-5 years.  Black Mission can be grown from Central to Southern States and climate zones 7-10.
 
How to Grow
First, I Recommend to start off your plants by growing them in a 4 inch pot with Happy Frog Potting soil. This product has fertilizer and soil beneficials already mixed in. After your plants are larger and more rooted, they can be re-potted or planted in normal decent soils about 3-4 ft apart. Water when your soil is about dried out. Plants like Full Sun, but a little shade won’t hurt.
